Pre-Delivery
Pre-delivery allows you to issue the license before the customer downloads the file. For example, a customer would add files to a shopping cart on your website. After a successful checkout, a simple call would be quietly dispatched to MediaCinch, using the programming language of your choice, to retrieve and store the license(s). Now that the user has the appropriate license(s), they may then proceed to play the content. INTERNET EXPLORER ONLY.

Post-Delivery
Post-delivery is very similar to pre-delivery from a programming standpoint except all processing takes place within Windows Media Player's License Acquisition Window, a small browser controlled by the player, and only AFTER the consumer attempts to play the file. It is important to note that the web-page that appears in the Acquisition Window resides on your own website so it's fully-controlled by you, you can perform any validation you prefer (i.e. Payment Form, Login, etc.), and it can be built using the programming language of your choosing.
